Information

In May of 2020 Signe was delivered to Åkenes Kystfiske AS in Gratangen, and was designet by NSK Ship Design AS. The boat is special in the way that it is constructed as a combination of a «røkterbåt» and a coastal fishing boat.

The fishing equipment can be lifted so that the fishing boat can be re-rigged as a service vessel. Signe will be fishing cod in the winter and Greenland halibut in the summer, and will the rest of the year be rented out as a service vessel.

The boat has flexible solutions on deck, like yarn binges with a variable height, equipment for recapture dishing and a multi-use setup for the deck crane.
